Sports Funding
We use our Sports Premium in a variety of ways to develop physical activity and sports in our school. We employ a sports coach to support the delivery of PE and extra-curricular clubs. We are very proud to be able to offer a wide range of after school clubs enabling our pupils to experience a range of sports and to develop their teamwork and collaborative skills.
The children have the opportunity to participate in competitions against local and London schools as part of the wider PE offer.
We have used the funding to develop our playground to encourage children to be more active and develop competitive games and are currently part of the OPAL project. The project supports primary schools to dramatically improve the quality of day-to-day play times focusing on engagement, learning, personal development and physical activity.
